Creative Comforts: A Mini Autumn Arts & Wellness Festival which will animate Donegal Town’s Millcourt Mews over 10 days

Donegal Town business and creative space Inkwell is proud to present Creative Comforts: A Mini Autumn Arts & Wellness Festival which will animate Donegal Town’s Millcourt Mews over 10 days. Inkwell’s owner, author Meg Grehan, has planned a whole host of events all following the Creative Comforts theme. The goal of the festival is to inspire creativity, soothe the soul and encourage community and connection. Kicking off on Tuesday October 21st with a beginners’ bookbinding workshop and finishing on the 30th with an evening of music and poetry from local legend Marian Bradfield and Dublin based poet Rosamund Taylor, Creative Comforts promises to bring joy, excitement and an artistic, autumnal spirit to Donegal Town!

There’s also A Pop Up Restaurant with the supreme chef and pastry maker Roisin Gillen, Beginners Crochet, Craft Market, Poetry Retreat, Bookbinding, Dungeons & Dragons, Mandala Workshop, Creative Soundbath, Children’s Book Ireland Book Clinic, an evening of Poetry and Music with Marian Bradfield and Rosamund Taylor, and an Open Mic evening on Friday 24th October, so everyone can get involved!

Organiser Meg says, “I’m so thrilled to bring Creative Comforts to the Millcourt Mews, already a space so full of creativity and kindness. Creativity’s positive impact on our mental health is something very important to me and getting the opportunity to encourage this creativity in a space I love so much is something I’ll always cherish. I am endlessly grateful to Creative Ireland and Donegal County Council for making this possible.”

All information can be found at inkwelldonegal.com and booking is essential for most events.
