Led by acclaimed composer Brian Irvine, this hands-on workshop offers an introduction to the art of composing for film. Designed for Donegal-based composers, the session will explore:
- The creative process behind scoring for film.
- Mood, instrumentation, and timbre in film music.
- Practical skills using Sibelius/Logic Pro.
- Insights and feedback from past participants and facilitators.
This workshop is presented by Dumbworld and serves as a taster for the NI Film Scoring School, a pioneering program that provides emerging composers with access to world-class mentorship and real-world scoring experience.
