Digital Storytelling with Mik O’Connell
Mik O'Connell is a music and media pro with over 20 years’ experience in recording, sound, and creative tech. He’s worked in studios, taught in schools, and helped loads of young people get into music and digital media.
In the junior workshop, children will plan and create their own short Lego stop-motion films using iPads. They’ll build scenes, move characters frame by frame, and bring their ideas to life on screen. In the senior workshop, teens will dive into GarageBand to create their own music tracks. Mik will guide them through recording, mixing, and layering sounds.
There will be a morning and afternoon session available:
Session 1 - 10.00 - 12.00 (Music Production)
Session 2 - 13.00 -15.00 (Stop Motion Animation)
